..perhaps Nerdanel just had a really bad fashion sense! 
(Not that I’d think kilts are bad - quite the contrary - but I’m pretty sure Fëanor didn’t wear that to his wedding.. call it a gut feeling!)
Some random silliness that was inspired by lack of sleep and some comments by *Ash-Nazg4321, ~BalduranDeArnise, ~Succubus1982, ~LadyElleth and ~LadyMornariel on my Fëanor WIP and The Fury of the Spirit of Fire. Also, a tribute to ~Elenai who has done some pretty hilarious Tolkien cartoons!
A quick doodle with a black marker pen + some Photoshop. This will go to scraps soon, but I uploaded it to my main main gallery just for the laughs.
(BTW, an observation made while submitting this: dA categories are extremely stupid.. and they keep changing for the worse it seems!
I mean.. there are no categories for book illustrations or humorous cartoons, but there are stuff like "Oekaki" and "Doujnshi" ..what the hell are those, anyway? 
)

I noticed what was wrong...The Kilt is BACKWARDS! (the pleats are supposed to be on the back while the front is flat.)
