Sketch:Dragonhelm of Dor-lomin by aautio Sketch:Dragonhelm of Dor-lomin by aautio
Yes, yet another helmet! Probably the one that has the most detailed description of all (in "Narn i Hîn Húrin," Book of Lot Tales I). The Famed Dragon-helm of Dor-lómin, a mighty heirloom of the House of Hador worn by Hador Goldenhead, Galdor the Tall and eventually Túrin. Originally made for Azaghâl, dwarf-lord of Belegost, by the legendary Telchar of Norgrod. 2B pencil.

This is so beautiful art! any of your drawings is so beautiful! perfect I could almost say... the helmet is great also. I wonder how would you imagine dwarves' masks that dwarves were wearing them when fighting with dragons - I couldn't find much visualisations of those masks... what do you think about it?

Great design :) I always wondered how could it cover all the face and how would the dragon on it look, ad i really like your vision

Thanks a lot! It's a little bit based on a Great Helm design (you know, the type worn by knights over a smaller helmet), but i wanted to make it look more dwarven and heavy somehow.
